What is AMCHAM Honduras?
AMCHAM-Honduras is an apolitical and independent non-profit organization composed by American and Honduran companies as well as other organizations that are supportive of AMCHAM`s activities through their annual monetary contribution, and their valued time and talent. Its main objective is to tighten and strengthen the commercial relationships and promote the investment between Honduras and the United States of America.
AMCHAM-Honduras is a link within the network of American Chambers of Commerce in over 60 countries in Latin America, Asia, and Europe affiliated to the Chamber of Commerce of the United States in Washington D.C., through the American Association of Chambers of Commerce in Latin America (AACCLA).

Commercial Information Center
The commercial services offered by the American Chamber of Commerce in Honduras were created to promote effective bilateral commerce between Honduras and the United States. These services enable users to take advantage of the vast quantity of information which this institution has access to, as well as the excellent information networks of the AACCLA (American Association of Chambers of Commerce in Latin America) and the United States Chamber of Commerce.
Objectives: Assist in tightening the commercial bonds between Honduras the United States by supporting its members and granting them access to valuable information. We have access to numerous databases, specialized directories, and a variety of web sites that encompass over 500,000 North American companies with significant potential to become your customers or even strategic allies in accordance to your company’s specific goals.
Promoting and strengthening the commercial exchange between Honduras and the United States through the information provided about products, exporters, importers, fairs, business contacts and any other subject related to commerce and business.

Directaccess to the US Chamber of Commerce
We have two active Commercial Information Centers in the cities of Tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sula. At these centers, Honduran companies can request information on specific issues by filling an information request form and identifying the information needed.
1. Team of Professional Human Resources
Companies have the option to access a curricula of high-level Human Resources such as company managers and directors as well as intermediate level personnel.
A résumé of every candidate is kept in file and a description of them is sent in a monthly bulletin.
2. Business cards for Companies and Chambers of Commerce
Every member of AMCHAM-Honduras is granted the right to receive business cards for specific companies and chambers of commerce.
3. Seminars and Conferences
Various conferences and lunches are organized with distinguished members of the private sector, government officers, international speakers, and other invited personalities with the special purpose of discussing issues of common interest. Participation in such events requires a minimal cost for members and it is free in many cases.

We offer the translation of documents from Spanish to English or from English to Spanish at a low cost.
6. Business Meetings and Commercial Missions
The arrangement of business meetings for Honduran entrepreneurs overseas and for foreign businesses in Honduras. There is no cost in the arrangement of such meetings for the members of AMCHAM-Honduras.
7. Event Organization
AMCHAM-Honduras offers its members the service of event planning with the supply of skilled personnel to carefully organize events such as: dinners, lunches, conferences, seminars, cocktails, product releases, and others at a very reasonable cost.
8. Database
Our database is available to our members and can be purchased at a low cost.
